One alternative that’s making a great name for itself is Vidgo. This article will cover the different channel packages Vidgo offers to subscribers.

Vidgo (free trial) makes the options simple to subscribers with two basic versions and two corresponding premium versions to choose from. Vidgo Basics

Vidgo is a relatively new streaming service to the market as it only launched in November of 2018. In an effort to improve the service, Vidgo has made multiple strategic partnerships to expand it’s channel offerings. Here are some highlights on the service:

Vidgo Packages: Overview

Unlike many services, Vidgo doesn’t have a laundry list of confusing channel packages. There are four packages to choose from, which should work for anyone looking to cut the cable cord.

Vidgo’s Core Package includes 60+ channels, including sports networks, news programs, children’s TV, and plenty more. The plan costs $39.99 per month, with no contract, and offers a weeklong free trial.

If you’re interested in the Core Package, but want additional channels you can get the Plus Package. The Plus Package costs $49.99 per month for more than 80 channels. Additional channels expand your sports networks quite a bit, along with other miscellaneous entertainment channels which are covered in more detail below.

The Core and Plus packages will get you some local TV channels, but at this point they’re only available in select markets. At the moment, the areas with local channels include New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Raleigh/Durham, and Fresno. But, Vidgo has stated more locations are on the way.

The service also offers the Vidgo Latino Package, which has 15+ channels. The cost is $14.99 per month and the 3-day free trial works for this package as well. If you’re looking for more channels, the Latino Mas Package gets you more than 25 Latino channels in total for just $24.99 per month.

Vidgo’s Latino and Latino Mas packages could be combined with either the Core or Plus packages, but other than that there are no add-on packages. Instead, Vidgo aims to offer a holistic list of channels as part of its basic packages for a great value.
