2023 Ohio State at Michigan Game

The Buckeyes-Wolverines game, commonly referred to as simply “The Game,” started all the way back in 1897. And it was played annually from 1918 onward. The only year they missed was 2020 due explicitly to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Michigan leads the series 60-51-6. But Ohio State has been dominant in recent years — winning 15 of the last 18 games. However, Michigan has won the last two games.

This year’s edition of The Game will air on Fox channels:

Sling TV is the original live TV streaming service. It will be familiar to anyone who has used cable or satellite. But it’s much better — cheaper, no contracts, more customizable, and with a way better interface.

Sling TV comes in two flavors: Sling Blue and Sling Orange. They are both $40.00/mo. But if you want them both (Sling Orange & Blue), it’s only $55.00/mo.

Since the Ohio State-Michigan game will air on Fox, you will need to watch it on a local affiliate station. Sling Blue offers Fox in these markets:

  • Atlanta (WAGA)
  • Austin (KTBC)
  • Chicago (WFLD)
  • Dallas (KDFW)
  • Detroit (WJBK)
  • Gainesville (WOGX)
  • Houston (KRIV)
  • Los Angeles (KTTV)
  • Milwaukee (WITI)
  • Minneapolis (KMSP)
  • New York (WNYW)
  • Orlando (WOFL)
  • Philadelphia (WTXF)
  • Phoenix (KSAZ)
  • San Francisco (KTVU)
  • Seattle (KCPQ)
  • Tampa (WTVT)
  • Washington (WTTG)

Of course, Sling Blue doesn’t just come with Fox. It also offers NBC and ABC in select markets. (In areas with ABC, Sling Blue is $5/mo more expensive).

Sling Blue also comes with A&E, AMC, BBC America, Bloomberg TV, Bravo, Cartoon Network (Adult Swim), Comedy Central, Discovery, Food Network, FS1, FX, HGTV, History, Lifetime, NFL Network, National Geographic, Syfy, TBS, TLC, TNT, truTV, and USA. It also includes the Big 3 cable news channels CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.

If you add Sling Orange (for $15/mo more), you also get ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, The Disney Channel, Freeform, MotorTrend, and QVC. This addition is a good idea if you want to watch a lot of college football. And ESPN3 is especially good for other NCAA sports.

The base Sling Blue package comes with 50 hours of cloud DVR storage and the ability to stream on up to 3 devices at once? Which devices? Pretty much everything currently in use including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, and Roku devices, smart TVs running Android TV as well as those from LG, Samsung, and Vizio, and gaming systems Oculus and Xbox.
