Even better – without the aggravation of trying to find something good on satellite or digital cable to watch only to find that nothing is on, and that your paying $100 a month for channels you don’t watch.

I noticed that shows will reboot and start over in the middle of an episode. I am not the only one who uses Crackle that has had this happen.

Hey Rick – I have heard other people having the same issue. What can you tell us about your setup? How are you accessing Crackle? Laptop, PS3 Etc… Also are you hard wired to your internet connection or are you using WIFI?

I run my laptop into my TV with via HDMI using a USB to HDMI converter. I’ve experiences the same issue on my desktop. I do not bother with PS3 and those devices because I do not play video games. I do not have these issues with HULU or any other video stream.

Excellent. Thanks for the additional details.
Are you connected to the internet via a wireless connection or through a land line?

PS – I don’t play many video games either, but the PS3 originally because of the built in Blu-ray player. But now it acts as a very user friendly media playing device, that I can control with a TV remote, vs using a keyboard and mouse.

I am connected with FiOS, connected to my desk top. My lap top I run off the WiFi signal. Hoping to go cable free as soon as the Verizon contract runs out. I might keep the internet access though. I am not hearing good things about Clear. I’m a former Comcast employee and won’t get Xfinity because…they can you know…

Still browsing through the myriad of HD antennas. Leaf seems to be the best but even they’re getting some bad reviews.

Hey Rick – I have noticed huge differences in video quality/ streaming when I go from a wireless connection to a wired connection. When your situation changes, you should definitely try this out. As for Xfinity…no i dont know. What can they do? Very curious now…

When I say Xfinity can, you know, I mean something derogatory that I won’t print here. 😉 The evil empire!

I live in an apartment, so I don’t know if the outdoor antenna will work for me.

As for the Leaf – they just came out with an Outdoor Antenna – the Sky. I will be releasing an article on this antenna shortly. Stay Tuned.

Crackle TV is awesome. Thanks for the post. I did not know it was available on PS3 until now. Just went into the app store, downloaded it, and I am up and running. Really nice interface and completely free. Thanks again!

Crackle has really stepped it up. I am a big fan of Sony. Seems like their products and services are always to notch (particularly the PS3 = video streamer, gaming system, and blu-ray player)
