The wait is over for Apple TV, iPhones, and iPad owners. The Vidgo app is now available on Apple devices. The app can be purchased for free from the Apple App Store.
Previously, the Vidgo streaming service was only available on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Roku. Vidgo also worked on mobile devices with iOS and Android operating systems.
Launched in November 2018, Vidgo is one of the newer streaming services available that is both simple and affordable. It works on many different internet-connected devices. For $39.99 a month (7-day free trial), Vidgo allows you to watch all your favorite channels, live, without the burden of a traditional cable contract or commitment.
SocialTV is a key part of Vidgo’s streaming service. The company offers “Hangs” that allow you to watch together with friends and family. “Hangs are the world’s first digital living rooms that provide a shared TV viewing experience. They’re supercharged with group chat and a shared “Jumbotron” so you can express yourself in fun and creative ways with GIFs, polls, your favorite photos, and more.”
Vidgo is an affordable service with its basic package offering 60+ channels, including the entire suite of Disney Media Networks and live local channels. Their plus package comes in at $49.99/month and features an additional 20 channels. Vidgo also offers special Latino packages at two levels, $14.99/month and $24.99/month. It should be noted that as of the time of publishing, live local channels are not available nationwide, although the company is working towards expanding the live local channel offering.
This new app gives you more opportunities to watch Vidgo wherever you have an internet-connected device. The new app lets you test drive the service for 30 minutes. If you’ve been considering Vidgo this is an opportunity to see if the service is right for you.
