Overview of San Antonio Brahmas
The San Antonio Brahmas replaced the LA Wildcats from the 2020 season, although given that all XFL teams are owned by the league itself, it’s hard to see the two as different teams.
The Brahmas play their home games at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. They are currently the only major professional sports league to call it home.
Head coach Wade Phillips is joined by offensive coordinator AJ Smith and defensive coordinator Will Reed.
Ward heads an impressive roster of talent from the NCAA, USFL, and NFL. This includes quarterbacks Quinten Dormady, Tom Flacco, and Chase Garbers. Featured running backs are Brycen Alleyne, John Lovett, and former Pittsburgh Steeler Anthony McFarland Jr. For wide receivers, the Brahmas have Landen Akers, KD Cannon, Jontre Kirklin, Matt Landers, Justin Smith, Marquez Stevenson, Calvin Turner, TJ Vasher, and Jordan Veasy.
The defense also features strong talent like Tavante Beckett, AJ Hendy, Gavin Heslop, Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Jamir Jones, BoPete Keyes, Darius Phillips, Teez Tabor, Bryce Thompson, Jordan Williams, and Quincy Wilson.
