Pluto TV aims to expand its streaming service through its multiyear partnership with Hisense’s Vidaa. With this new deal, Pluto TV will be featured on Hisense’s Vidaa enabled TVs in US, Latin American, and European markets. One-click access will be available via a special Pluto TV-branded button on Hisense’s remotes for units sold in the US and Mexico.

VicaomCBS’s Pluto TV is a free streaming service that currently boasts 20 million monthly active users. The goal is to continue growing their subscriber numbers by expanding internationally. Hisense is the world’s third-largest TV manufacturer, selling devices in dozens of countries across the globe. This partnership will likely help Pluto TV secure millions of new subscribers across numerous markets. “Partnering with Hisense and Vidaa aligns perfectly with our goals, accelerating our mission to entertain the planet,” stated Pluto TV’s VP of distribution, Brendon Thomas.

With Pluto TV, Hisense Vidaa users will have access to over 250 live curated and branded partner channels. The streaming service is currently available on more than 30 different devices in the US. This includes CTV, gaming consoles, mobile, set-top boxes, and web. In March, the streaming service launches in the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Latin America. Pluto TV Latam will also launch in March. Pluto TV Latam will be offered in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, El Salvador, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Pluto TV will expand across the EU later in 2020.

Guy Edri, EVP of business development for Hisense Vidaa, stated the company’s “key goal is to provide the best free content locally in every market on our Vidaa platform. Partnering with Pluto TV is a perfect match.”

Consumers will begin to see this integration of Pluto TV into the Vidaa platform beginning in the spring.
