F1 fans tired of watching the race on their mobile devices or desktops can now celebrate! F1 TV is now available on Roku. You can find Formula 1’s OTT service (both Pro and Access plans) in the US Roku Channel Store.

This is the first time that F1 TV brings its service to the larger screen. Live streaming is available for every track session for all Formula 1 Grand Prix, as well as F2 and F3 support events. The channel includes access to live timing, driver maps and leaderboards, 20 onboard cameras, and unedited team radios during track sessions. They will also have access to a multi-screen Pit Lane channel that features exclusive commentary, as well as the best camera angles and data. US subscribers will also have access to a live stream of the pre-season test events in Barcelona. With Roku, F1 TV subscribers will also have access to F1 archives with more than 800 hours of footage from 35 years of racing. They will also get access to number of exclusive films and documentaries.

Launching F1 TV in the US, with Roku as our first connected TV platform, will enable us to strike the right balance between super-serving fans and testing and learning on a new platform. There is enormous potential to deliver an enhanced viewing experience to the sport’s fans and Roku customers alike.”

F1 TV Details

F1 TV has two different subscription levels. The live subscription, F1 TV Pro, is available for $9.99 a month or $79.99 annually. The on-demand (non-live) subscription, F1 TV Access, is available for $2.99 a month or $26.99 annually.

Live streaming of F1 TV becomes available on Roku starting February 19 with the beginning of the pre-season testing sessions.

F1 TV is exclusive to Roku. However, Formula 1 racing can be viewed without cable on other streaming services such as Hulu TV and Sling TV when shown on ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC. However, as of this time streaming exclusive F1 content is only available on F1 TV with Roku.
