Moving Out, and Moving On. Relocating is Expensive Enough, why Sign Up for an Unnecessary Cable TV Bill?
How Moving Day is Perfectly Aligned with Cord Cutting
Every year, millions of Americans pack up their belongings and move to a new home. Apart the usual fare of packing the boxes and renting the moving truck, there’s also the task of shutting off the utilities; such as water, electric, and (of course) cable TV.
But whereas everyone is likely to turn the power and water back on in their new house, more and more individuals have decided to not renew the cable TV subscription. According to a report by VP and Senior Analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein, Todd Juenger (previously Vice President & General Manager at TiVo), more Americans than ever are now using moving as an excuse to kill the cable bill and seek out a better cable TV alternative. How to protect your children from harmful content, through adjusting the settings on your favorite Streaming Service
One of the most overlooked advantages of cutting the cord is the additional control you achieve over the content that your children are allowed to watch. With Cable, you are bombarded by toxic commercials and programming aimed to brainwash you and your children into buying more things, acting a certain way, and viewing the world from a consumeristic perspective.
I know this first hand. I have a young son and daughter and am constantly infuriated by the media’s lack of moral commitment to empowering our youth with good messages. Instead, they only care about making a buck, at any cost, and at the detriment of our youth’s ideals and self-worth.
I think my friend Murphy from the Just Saying Network said it best on twitter:
Cutting the cord does not just Save You Money, it also allows you to control what your family is watching

Now Spanish Speaking Cord Cutters have even more Cable TV Alternatives
It’s no secret that the Latino population is one of the fastest growing in the United States. There are approximately 54 million Latino Americans, and that number will only continue to grow over the coming decades.
Despite the size and speed in which the Latino population is expanding, most media companies have failed to tap into this wholly unexplored market. The one exception to this rule is the streaming service Hulu.

Cord Cutting: Not a Fad
Blueshift Market Research Survey
It’s no secret that people are fed up with cable companies. Two of the largest cable provider, Comcast and Time Warner, have been ranked as one of the worst companies in customer satisfaction.
Although it is widely known that people are dissatisfied, what is unknown is whether or not people are actually doing something about it; that is, until now.
Blueshift Market Research, in conjunction with Survey Monkey, recently surveyed American households about their television habits; and the results just might surprise you.

Cordcutters Turn to OTT Services
And why they will never look back
In today’s divisive society, there is at least one thing Americans agree on: Cable Television sucks. A recent report from the American Customer Satisfaction Index revealed that the cable television consumers were some of the least satisfied customers in the nation.
The fact of the matter is that cable television is expensive, offers little choice, and has poor customer service. Bearing that in mind, it’s no wonder why millions of Americans are dissatisfied and desperately looking for Cable TV Alternative.
